Rockmart Cultural Arts Center and The Rockmart Theatre proudly present, with the newly formed company, Pete’s Backyard Players, the Christmas production, “Christmas Belles” by Jessie Jones, Nicholas Hope and Jamie Wooten.
The play is directed by Mike Crowe of Dallas, Georgia and assistant director/stage manager Donna Duff with the Rockmart Community Theatre. The play will be performed at The Rockmart Theatre on December 7 - 7:30 pm; December 8 - 2:30 & 7:00 pm and December 9 - 2:30 pm.
Join the misadventures of the Futrelle Sisters --- Frankie, Twink, and Honey Raye as their church Christmas program spins hilariously out of control in this Southern comedy. You won’t want to miss these squabbling sisters, a surly Santa, a vengeful sheep, and a reluctant Elvis impersonator as a hot-flashing-suffering Honey Raye desperately tries to keep the Tabernacle of the Lamb’s Christmas Program from spiraling out of control. But watch out, Miss Geneva, the ousted director of the previous twenty-seven productions, tries to weasel her way back in.
